Chic Biker Babe.

Forever 21. You either love it, or you hate it. I happen to love it... usually. Moving on... I happened to get these babies a few months ago and have been completely enamored by them. I LOVE THEM! Especially with a pair of skinny dark denims, a crisp white button-up white shirt (preferably stolen from your boyfriend... but in my case, straight from the men's department at Nordstrom) and a black leather wrap belt. Too bad it has been about 100 degrees + lately in LA! Fall. Needs. To. Come. ASAP.

Edit: I later realized that these GORGEOUS heels are knock off's of Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B. collection of shoes. As much as I adore Gwen Stefani, until I am rollin' in dough, I reluctantly have to stick to the cheapies. The fo real ones will cost ya about $300, however, they are on sale here for $180. I will admit, the L.A.M.B. one's are effing gorgeous! No surprise since it's from Gwen.

Beauty is Pain.

I have this slight obsession of removing any excess hair well... basically anywhere! Which includes me going at it in between my Ziba eyebrow appointments. Anyways, I happened to stumble upon these babies! My absolute favorite tweezer brand Tweezerman have made these super sexy Swarovski crystal tweezers! Aren't they just gorgeous?! Of course, these special tweezers aren't cheap. For a cool $100 a pop, which you can order here. Or you can also hit up a local Michael's (or any other craft store) and buy some crystals of your own and bling up your own pair of tweezers! (Note to self: go to Michael's).

Day In, Day Out. Scratch that! Day In, DOLL OUT!

Currently, my life as I know it basically consists of this... what I'm doing right this very second. TYPING. DAY IN, DAY OUT. I have a job that IS a fashionistas worst nightmare. I have a cubicle job. Yes, a beige, horrificly (read: fluorescently), lit cubicle where my only joy comes directly from gazing out my somewhat decently satisfying view (13 floors high) of the SFV. I work at a bank... one that I will leave nameless... however, its name starts with a B and ends with an A. Heh. None the less, I'm bound to my desk (straight ball n' chain status) simply because they pay me too damn well and have rediculously good benefits. All of which I've been told to be grateful for and lucky to have... especially in times like this and all the hardships of this struggling economy...blah blah BLAH!

So why you ask? Why would I choose to come home and sit again at a desk and type my life away? I have lemons and I need to make some damn good lemonade! I've gotten some inspiration from several sources. (Note: My sincerest apologies in advance if this idea/scheme has already been done) The only highlight of my mundane life is getting dressed every morning. I will admit that my laziness does *occasionally* take over. Sooo... this little newborn baby of a blog will be dedicated to styling. Styling myself. My home (I have a no-so-secret fetish for interior decorating). And whomever else is willing to let me style them! Of course it will also include odds and ends of my own personal life. And lastly, the part I'm excited for and at the same time petrified about, any questions about anything really. Fashion, style, makeup, hair et cetera. All subjects, I must say, I think I know an ass load about! All of this in efforts to eventually become.... you guessed it... a STYLIST!

While I have never had a legit blog. Minus all of the ones I had wayy back in HS that gushed about every possible emotion that I had running through my young little veins. It might take me a while to get the hang of this whole blogging world. Til then... I hope you enjoy!

PostScript:
I forgot to mention... the title of this blog does have some-what significate meaning. Day in, day out is how most of us live out lives. Same routing all the time. I, however, am simply not satisifed with that! Life passes by so quickly because we are always looking forward to something (i.e. the weekend, vacation, parties, et cetera). I intend on finding and recognizing the joy in everyday life. For me, that is getting dressed daily. Day in? Yes. Day out? NO! DOLL OUT!
